Oak Air, Ltd.
is a part 135 air-carrier based in Akron, Ohio that operates
Bombardier, 1999 built, 12 passenger, Challenger 604 aircraft.
Our aircraft is superiorly
maintained per the manufactures recommended maintenance program.
The avionics package in our aircraft is regularly upgraded to
not only comply with current federal regulations but also to
enhance the safety of operations overall. Our Challenger 604 has seating
for twelve passengers. We do offer our aircraft with or without a
cabin attendant at the customer's request. Cabin comforts
include Airshow 400, DVD movies, music, phone, and even three external mounted
cameras.
Perhaps the
most unique aspect of Oak Air, Ltd. is the accessibility to
handicap operations. Our aircraft is outfitted with lift
system to allow chair bound passengers an easy boarding option.
We have several years of experience specializing in handicap
transportation and can assist with any accessibility issues. In
addition to accessibility needs, our aircraft is
equipped with an Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED), and
crewmembers receive in-flight emergency care, A.H.A. Heartsaver
CPR and AED training annually. Our pilots have also been through
physiological and survival training programs. All pilots are type
rated in the aircraft and attend Flight Safety Intl. recurrent
training programs every six months.
Oak Air, Ltd. maintains
membership in NBAA, NATA, and maintains a Platinum Rating with the
Aviation Research Group/ U.S. (ARG/US).
